Supermarkets, a pharmacy, laundromats, ATMs and a doctor's rooms are all within a short walk of the house.
The Liesbeek River path and Hartleyvale fields are close by for running, walking or clearing your head before exams.
Like any city neighbourhood, Observatory rewards a bit of common sense: walk in company after dark, use the shuttle late at night, and keep the gate locked behind you. The local neighbourhood watch is active, and we brief every new tenant on the basics when they move in.
