Living in Observatory

Obs is Cape Town’s student neighbourhood: walkable, lively and close to almost everything you need during term. Our house sits on a quiet stretch of Baker Street, a few minutes from the busy part of Lower Main Road.

Staying safe in Obs

Like any city neighbourhood, Observatory rewards a bit of common sense: walk in company after dark, use the shuttle late at night, and keep the gate locked behind you. The local neighbourhood watch is active, and we brief every new tenant on the basics when they move in.
